The mission of the Garden Conservancy is to preserve, share, and celebrate America's gardens and diverse gardening traditions for the education and inspiration of the public. Visit their website for a full schedule of their upcoming events.

RIWPS is a nonprofit conservation organization, dedicated to the preservation and protection of Rhode Island's native plants and their habitats. URIMGP educates citizens in environmentally-sound gardening practices through the dissemination of factual, research-based information. Through the train-the-trainer approach, over 700 volunteers serve as URI Extension Master Gardener educators, amplifying the impact of Cooperative Extension to improve environmental quality and build healthy communities. Formerly Garden in the Woods, the Native Plant Trust has a native plant finder, offers online and in-person classes, and grows native plants from seed for sale beginning in April.

Promotes native plants through workshops, programs and native plant sales. They offer a free lecture series, "Evenings with Experts" every spring at the public library in Cambridge, MA. You can access previous recordings here.

Dan Jaffe's useful plants lists is a great source for planning a native garden.

Margaret Roach's, author of "A Way To Garden", website is full of useful "how to" information, plant lists, book lists, etc. and a link to her podcast.

Offers a wealth of information about native plants and excellent planting guides. It offers detailed descriptions and pictures of native plants as well as resources that focus on ecology and horticulture.

The goal of the Wild Seed Project is to raise awareness about the vital importance of native plants in our landscapes. They provide communities, municipalities, individuals and organizations with skills and knowledge to repopulate our landscapes with native plants that expand wildlife habitat, support biodiversity and build climate resilience.
